Having acquired the skills taught over the course of your studies at Curious Comedy Theater, this class will focus on bringing all of those techniques together to create a long form improv show with your ensemble. Emphasis will be placed on the group over the individual as we delve into the pacing, execution, and structure of a group improvised performance piece. There will be two performances at this level, plus the Student Showcase.

Please note: You must have completed two levels of CORE, as well as have AUDITIONED to be admitted into this class.

Our class minimum is 6 people. Some smaller classes may need to be combined. If so, we'll ask if you can make the other date of the class and move you over. If you can't move to another date then we will refund your tuition and inform you the week before.

What Students Say About Stacey: " I love how much Stacy will not be afraid to say something that needs to be said. Too often teachers will hesitate to tell a student something that they didn't do right and it will just cause more issues down the line. Stacy instructs in a way that doesn't make you feel like you lesser than for not doing something as well as you could have, but it is evident that she believes in her students and that they are capable of being great. Her teaching style not only corrects bad habits but also gives them the confidence they needs to work on those habits and to become better performers."

Instructor Bio: Stacey founded Curious in 2008 - establishing the organization as well as acquiring and building out the space. She has served as Artistic Director ever since. She also served as Board Chair from 2008-2013. Stacey works closely with the Board, its committees, the Managing Director and the staff to develop and implement the theater’s five year strategic plan. Artistically, she is responsible for working with the theater’s teachers, performers, producers and tech team to develop the artistic voice of the theater’s classes, shows and outreach programs to ensure fulfillment of our mission and artistic satisfaction for performers, students and our audience.

This class will be held at the Boys and Girls Club across the street from Curious Comedy Theater.
