Musical Improv: Emphasis on the Music with Cameron Gable
Duration: 1 class session
Sunday August 12th 12:00-3:00pm
Instructor: Cameron Gable
Have you wanted to dip your toe into musical improv, but don’t feel confident in the musical aspect? You’re not alone, singing can make anyone feel very vulnerable. This workshop however, will teach you some basic musical skills with an improv twist. You will learn the basics of producing sound, singing healthily, basic melody improvisation, and how to modify your vocal placement in order to sing in different genres or as different characters depending on the scene. Most importantly, you will leave this workshop with the confidence to go out on stage and sing your heart out.
